As we round the corner into November and leave the busiest wedding month behind, my heart is full. Sure I’m buried in editing, and sure I could really use a nap, but I really do have the best clients and that makes it all so worth it.
Madeline and Scott are definitely no exception, as they are also the best. Playing it cool and being aloof are out; wearing your emotions proudly is in. And being able to strike a pose to rival Christina Hendricks doesn’t hurt, either! We started the day getting ready at Madeline’s childhood home, surrounded by the cutest gaggle of flower girls and ring bearers you could ask for. Once all preparations had been made, we were off to the ceremony in the Lehmann Rose Garden at MOBot in St. Louis.
The anticipation was palpable as Madeline and her father wound their way up the path among the roses. The ceremony was full of laughter and happy tears.
Fun Fact: Madeline and Scott’s first kiss was at the top of this observatory. We had to get a picture there to commemorate.
After warming up a bit in the temperate house, we were off to Andre’s South for the reception.
Remember what I said about the cutest gaggle of flower girls? They almost stole the show… But not quite.
Congrats again, Madeline and Scott! It has been such fun working with you two, I hate to even call it work!
