Nicole and Brandon met through the ROTC program during college. Both shared a deeply rooted wanderlust, which resulted in more than one period of long distance in their relationship. Through it all, they never waivered on what they wanted- each other, no matter what.
For their first look, we escaped to the wild. Brandon spent much of his childhood in Giant City National Park, and Nicole loved the Zelda-esque scenery. The whole day was filled with delicate knods to the videogame classic.
The City Streets of the Park provided amazing opportunities for me to work. I love when I can do something a little different!
Brandon and Nicole’s groomsmen were the silent heroes of the day. They had put together this ceremony arch two days before the wedding, making it everything Nicole had hoped for! They also did practically all the setup too so the girls didn’t have to worry about it. Can we get them all a round of applause and a round of drinks?!
We ended up running so far ahead of schedule, we had time for some sunset photos among the vines. Alll the heart eyes. Saving time for sunset photos is a surefire way to win me over.
Nicole and Brandon shared their love of foreign cultures and world travels with their guests in all the little details throughout the reception. Including a spicy, globetrotting first dance that combined Flamenco, Paso Doble, Tango, and more.
Of course, they had to include the chest that Brandon had made to propose to Nicole. The gem opens to reveal a space for the ring.
The night would not have been complete without Nicole’s parents welcoming Brandon into the family with their tradition: Serenading the couple with a disney ballad. They chose “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” for these two wide-eyed wanderers.
Congrats again, Brandon and Nicole! It was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day!
