Nikki + Daniel – A St. Louis Winery Wedding

Because of the character of my husband’s large family, I often say I won the in-law jackpot. Included in that jackpot came Nikki’s family, the Gambills. Though not related by blood, Grunzinger and Gambill have become as close to family as you can get. So to photograph Nikki’s wedding to Daniel was a great honor and sentimental for me.

Daniel was so excited and enamored upon sight of his bride that he tripped over a tree root climbing to her. There may have been some jumping up and down, too. 🙂

During the ceremony, the officiant – also my brother-in-law (family, see?) – referred to Daniel as the Doctor’s young padawan. The mash-up of references may or may not have caused me to laugh embarrassingly loud.

Another brother-in-law of mine/groomsmen also may or may not have gotten into a push-up contest with a bridesmaid. The winner of said contest is still hotly debated.
