Kim and Steve’s Labor Day Wedding was full of beautiful details with an atmosphere of romance. Haue Valley in Pacific, MO (just a short drive west of St. Louis) was the perfect setting for their day, with scenic views, rustic charm and an amazingly helpful and attentive staff.
Since they wanted their day to be relaxed, Kim and Steve opted for a first look. When you are each other’s rock and comfort, the day is more peaceful together.
Florist Allissa of Style:Altar’d really helped set the atmosphere with her effortlessly romantic arrangements. And the staff at Haue Valley provided so many details as well!
Rev. Sandy LaRouche officiated their ceremony with genuine and heartfelt touches. She also kept things entertaining! (I laughed louder than I probably should have at a joke about her high school sweetheart, King Solomon.)
Kim and Steve thought of everything! A children’s table was set up in a cozy corner of the barn, complete with crayons, toys, and their own “Pin the Boutonniere on the Groom” Game!
We were able to sneak off just before a big storm hit for some intimate sunset portraits. I’m so glad we did since some of my favorite shots are from this section of the day.
Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Copeland for being so kind, easy-going and generally fantastic! It was such a pleasure to capture your wedding day!
