Usually, when I meet with potential clients, I buy them coffees or dinner. When I met with Ashley and Bill at SqWires Restaurant in Lafayette Square, they insisted on buying me dinner. Crazy, right? Well, it sets the stage for the story I’m about to tell. Knowing these two are genuine, considerate, and unabashedly themselves at all times is paramount to understanding their wedding day.
I refered to this as the realest shoe putting-on ever. Just getting things done!
First Look. I’m eventually going to write a post about how great they are. Eventually.
These two have found their lobster in each other. They are so genuinely themselves around each other and it’s a delight to see.
SqWires was all decked out with books and custom needlepoint, which Ashley made a lot of herself! The hand-painted ceramics were also made by her. (She’s talented like that. Go check out her etsy shop! Christmas is coming and there’s a mug for the nerd in your life there.)
Much love, happiness, and geekery to Bill and Ashley! It was truly a blast to be a part of your wedding day!
