Brooke + Shad | A Jefferson Underground Wedding in St. Louis

In what could be the plot of the next blockbuster rom-com, Brooke met Shad at a co-ed kickball league and, within weeks, the two found themselves on a cross-country road trip together. As they say, the rest is history! These two are infectiously cheerful and, obviously, adventurous. Being a part of their wedding day was just a joy.

 

Sunflowers permeated the wedding day, from the sunflower robes the ladies wore while getting ready to the bouquets and centerpieces.

After a first look on the front lawn of their new home, we headed off to Lafayette Square Park for wedding party portraits. While there were some sprinkles and showers, we were prepared!

Jefferson Underground hosted ceremony and reception for the day. The downtown venue is a beautiful, light-filled industrial-style space with exposed brick and tons of reclaimed boat wood incorporated into the furniture and decor.
