Mary + Danny | A St Louis Wedding on the Hill

It was a HOT day. Stepping out of the shade into the direct sunlight was actually painful. But that’s not the most memorable part of the day. It was leaving that evening with my cheeks hurting from smiling. Mary and Danny have that effect on people, and it showed by the love in the room.

We started the day at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta for the ceremony. Mary had her grandmother’s rosary around her bouquet, one of many personal touches they included in the day.

After the ceremony, we jetted off to the Saint Louis Art Museum for portraits. We tried to stick to the shade as much as possible!

Being big animal lovers, Danny and Mary really wanted to incorporate the zoo somehow. And I said absolutely!

The reception at Rose of the Hill was full of laughter, fun stories about the couple, and nostalgic memories of growing up with Mary and Danny. This is where the love I mentioned earlier really shone through. I was grinning like a Cheshire cat the whole time, and am again now while I write about it! In summary, the inscription on Danny’s ring says it all: “YOU DA BEST”
