Britney said she had believed this day would never come- that was before she met Daniel. The two of them care deeply, laugh freely, and are never afraid to be their truest selves around each other. One of the constants in their relationship has been a bond over The Legend of Zelda in its many forms. The lore held special significance to both of them and influenced a foundation of wisdom, courage and strength to build upon. So it was only natural that Zelda had a place in their wedding day.
The day started at The Element Midtown St. Louis, where Britney and Daniel had their first look before heading to Forest Park for that sweet fall foliage color.
After our time at Forest Park, we headed to 18 Rails at the City Foundry for their ceremony and reception. (This was my first time to the Foundry, and let me tell you, it’s worth a look. The vibe is industrial and the staff was so friendly and incredibly helpful!) Of course, there were lots of lil pottery pieces spread around the venue, as well as the Master Sword.
Britney and Daniel surprised each other with their final ring design. I think they both nailed it.
This wedding was so much fun to shoot, and not just because of all the fabulous nerdy details, but because I love nothing more than helping two incredibly kind and deserving people celebrate in a way that is uniquely them. It’s truly the reason I do what I do. Congratulations, Dan + Britney!
