We’ve officially entered the holiday season and I’m in the photographer editing cave until Christmas. This November wedding, however, is a great way to remember the fall. It was the most amazing weather I’ve had on a wedding day in a while. But you’re not here to read about the weather, or my editing backlog, so I’ll get right to the good stuff.
Jason met Nikki the same way all great romances start in the 21st century: through an app! It is literally the new meet cute. 🙂 Also cute: them reading letters to each other the morning of the wedding. Victoria of A Bride’s Ally was nearby with tissues! Nikki scheduled in time to have a “first look” time with her father, which also required tissues.
The ceremony took place at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. The ceremony held a lot of personal touches and sweet glances from the couple. We got to work in some fun off-camera lighting afterwards that really showed off the church’s beautiful stained glass.
Some portraits at the National Memorial Church of God in Christ followed by the Downtown branch of St Louis Public Library, with a champagne toast at Magnolia Hotel to wrap it up. Then off to the reception at Marriott Grand.
Nikki and Jason, I am so very honored and happy to have been part of your day. It was a blast start to finish and I wish you nothing but the best.
